The Role
We are seeking to recruit an Administrator for a 12-18 month fixed term contract to ensure maximum efficiency is derived from the company’s proprietary order management system, and to provide administrative support to the Export team.
- Daily management of email mailboxes
- Management of volume order processing
- Production of weekly order reporting and tracking
- Issue weekly tonnage report to all sales representatives
- Issue of purchase orders
- Maintain accurate trackers using Excel, detailing orders, prices, collections, and deliveries
- Process Deep Sea confirmations
- Book inspections with third-party providers and maintain accurate vessel details, communicating to internal departments of any short shipments/booking/destination amendments
- Complete new supplier/credit application forms
- Issue export-related and required paperwork to suppliers ahead of collections
- Escalate any impending issues to relevant internal management regarding the department
About You
This position would suit a detailed administrator with ideally some experience in a logistics or sales administration role. Besides professional competence, we’re looking for a friendly, communicative person who is resourceful and independent and is attracted to the idea of supporting a team in a fast-paced environment.
