We are looking for an entrepreneurial, tenacious Customer Development Executive that can build relationships externally to drive & influence customers thinking.

Reporting to the Customer Development Manager, the Customer Development Executive will have overall responsibility for executing the Out of Home strategy in the Travel & Gifting channel, delivering both the financial and brand objectives. Working alongside the sales team in order to deliver the strategy you will also have direct accountability for current Travel & Gifting customers and new business within the Channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver key financial performance objectives in line with budget / agreed forecast
  • Execute brand activations in line with shopper marketing plan and customers to define key drivers of success
  • Create, implement and review customer account plans
  • Delivery and execution of the Travel & Gifting long term strategy and growth plans
  • Negotiate commercial joint business partnerships that build customer loyalty to the brand
  • Work alongside sales, category & the shopper teams to achieve share & growth targets
  • Support development of high quality contract pitches that combine compelling customer propositions with robust internal commercial business cases to win new business
  • Develop a good understanding of distributor RTM and work with distributors to ensure delivery of key objectives (NPD / promotional activity etc)
  • P&L delivery including the management of price increases, promotional funding and trade spend
  • Produce monthly forecasts and report and review financial metrics

Skills and Experience:

  • Ambitious self-starter with a growth mindset
  • Entrepreneurial, with the ability to spot opportunities and deliver results with a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Engages and influences internal stakeholders to achieve outcomes with pace
  • An ability to learn quickly, be bold and resilient in trying new initiatives
  • Builds relationships externally to drive & influence customers thinking
  • Passion for Health & Wellbeing
  • The ability to bring fresh perspective and a natural enthusiasm for the Out of Home channel
  • Minimum 2-3 years previous customer facing experience in sales, category or shopper marketing
  • Commercial P&L skills
