Our client is an outsourced IT provider, they are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support their hiring programme utilising tools such as their Applicant Tracking System (Bullhorn), external job boards, and LinkedIn to enhance the sourcing capability and drive commercial value and quality of hire through direct talent acquisition.

Reporting to the People & Culture Lead, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide support across the country, assisting a broad range of customer sites with their high-volume technology recruitment requirements.  You will work at a fast pace to tight timescales, to assist local teams to deliver the best service and outcomes. 

As a proven Technology/IT recruiter, your business development/sales and exceptional stakeholder management capabilities are essential elements to the success of this role.

You will be a self-motivated, starter finisher that is results orientated. You will have a natural ability to manage and deliver multiple projects at any one time and develop and streamline processes, identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advocate for collaborative ways of working across the function and adopting and inspiring a strong ‘team’ unity bond 
  • Provide a dedicated recruitment partner offering that operates geographically across the country
  • Manage the full end to end permanent recruitment cycle of roles
  • Leverage and promote all available sourcing channels to maximise direct hiring capabilities, ensuring appropriate channels are used including job boards, social media, and LinkedIn
  • Manage all applications via our ATS in an appropriate way, ensuring feedback is provided
  • Conduct screening of candidates and presenting shortlist to hiring managers with an overview, ensuring candidates represented are aligned to our Company values
  • Establish strong relationships with hiring managers to deliver success but also look to drive long-term recruitment hiring requirements
  • Be a Brand Ambassador and help to establish the company’s employer brand, both internally and externally through attendance of networking events and other such activity
  • Provide regular reporting on key metrics such as time to hire, cost per hire etc.
  • Draft job descriptions and role profiles, ensuring adherence to the Roc Branding principles
  • Conduct role benchmarking and agree salary/package as appropriate with HR Manager
  • Ensure all candidates have a positive ‘differentiated’ interview experience, irrespective of selection

  • Ensure that vacancies are effectively tracked, monitored and advertised internally on an ongoing basis
  • Draft, place and promote adverts as required – LinkedIn, Jobs and Advertising Boards etc 
  • Advocate an ‘internal first’ growth methodology whilst appreciating when a differentiated external
  • approach is required
  • Support managers with the design and delivery of bespoke recruitment activities – selection centers, interviews, in-tray exercises, presentations, case studies, group, and individual exercises

Attributes, Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience of using Applicant Tracking Systems, ideally Bullhorn  
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritise and able to work to competing priorities and deadlines
  • Consultive communication style, with the ability to build rapport and relationships quickly
  • Competent with MS Office especially Word & Excel (Excel – Data Analysis/Calculations)
  • Motivated to succeed with a tenacious attitude
  • Determined and proactive, able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
