Working with customers in over 80 countries worldwide, our client is the largest independent forest product trading company in North America.

Hybrid opportunity, with scope to work from home on average, two days a weeks after the probationary period. Hours 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Export Coordinator is responsible processing and monitoring of export documentation ensuring strict deadlines are met and documents are presented with no discrepancies. Additionally, the role supports the Sales Administration Supervisor and the documentation team.

  • Managing and maintaining the export documentation tracking systems
  • Submitting export and customs data to the relevant parties
  • Submitting inspection reports to inspection agencies
  • Checking draft documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Creating documentation presentations
  • Liaising with overseas agents regarding export schedules and documentation status
  • Invoicing exports via IFP order management systems
  • Performing final checks for compliance on documents produced by the larger documentation team
  • Checking of letter of credit applications and customer contracts to ensure IFP can conform with requirements and avoid documentation discrepancies
  • Entering of letter of credit data into IFP order management systems
  • Ensuring all sales documentation is received and electronically stored
  • Liaising with the export desk to ensure goods are shipped to meet customer requirements
  • Provide cover for the Sales Administration Supervisor

About You

This role would suit either a graduate looking for a career in International Trade or an Administrator with a meticulous attention to detail.  You will be a persuasive communicator who can effectively manage and build relationships with key suppliers and customers to meet agreed objectives.  Strong commercial acumen is particularly important as well as the ability to produce accurate work under tight timescales.
