Our client, a dynamic and expanding facilities management company renowned for its quality, reliability, and exceptional service, is seeking a proactive and results-oriented HR Business Partner to join their progressive Leadership Team at the head office.

The Role

This critical role is ideal for an ambitious and experienced HR generalist who excels in providing value-added, strategically aligned partner support to Central Functions. The role also involves the development and implementation of a newly created Early Careers programme. A passion for innovation and workforce development is essential, as you will be responsible for creating an end-to-end Early Careers strategy, while influencing and supporting managers to cultivate the future workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive HR Business Partnering services to management, equipping managers with the tools and capabilities needed to manage their teams effectively.
  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to address people-related challenges within the business area.
  • Utilize key people analytics to inform decision-making and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop an Early Careers strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Coach and support managers in effectively leading Early Careers talent.
  • Foster relationships with external bodies, including schools and universities, to support the delivery of the Early Careers programme.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR department, Talent team, and business units to build effective relationships and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Manage HR projects and change initiatives within the business.
  • Enhance management capability through coaching and challenging on people management and decisions.
  • Develop solutions to people-related issues that help stakeholders achieve their commercial objectives.
  • Use data and metrics to identify potential issues and support decision-making to increase employee engagement.
  • Maintain visible and meaningful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Advise on HR legal and employee relations matters to ensure consistency, legal compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Plan and implement HR initiatives and projects in alignment with HR’s strategic planning process and business-driven initiatives.

About You:

  • Experienced HR Business Partner, ideally holding CIPD level 7 certification.
  • Proven background in adding value and improving operational efficiencies through cost management and people development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver HR services across multiple sites.
  • Experience in developing or managing an Early Careers programme is advantageous.
